Induction

The MBA at Ace is a very intensive program and the pace of study is often a challenge to students. Our approach to teaching and learning may also be different for a student at first. Students might find the MBA program stretching if they are not completely oriented. We have initiated a three-week induction program which is designed to prepare the students for the intensive workload ahead. The course is compulsory for all the students who have been offered and have accepted a place for the MBA. These three weeks of intensive induction provides students with the opportunity to brush up their English Writing and Computing skills before the start of the program. It is aimed at ensuring that participants achieve success in the program.

Internship

As an essential requirement of the MBA degree, students are required to undertake an internship while pursuing the degree. The primary objective of the internship is to provide the student with a real life, on- the-job exposure to work situation. The internship provides an opportunity to a student to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to real life business situation. The internship is conducted under the dual supervision of our faculty member and the business leader from the organization, to which the case pertains.

The normal duration of the internship is 8 weeks. It is usually undertaken during the semester break after completion of the first two semesters of course work.

Placement

The placement, career guidance and support cell of the institute ensures that our graduates are capable of tapping the best opportunities the job market offers. The key responsibilities of this cell are to guide the graduates to make an informed career decision, enable them to acquire the knowledge and skills required for the job and ensure that they have full confidence in themselves. The placement cell also conducts a career planning workshop for the final semester students towards the end of the semester to orient the students about expectations from the job market and to prepare them to take on these job opportunities.

On the other hand, the placement cell manages the recruiter perception and ensures that the graduates tap the extensive institutional network of the institute. The cell also ensures that graduates are adequately exposed to the job market and it liaises with the alumni and executives to enhance the opportunities of employment.
