The contemporary times have brought new challenges to prepare students for the demands of the twenty-first century workplace. Students must not only acquire and master 'enabling' skills of business and management such as mathematics, finance, accounts, marketing etc., but also acquire 'new basic skills' such as creative thinking, problem solving, negotiation, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
The entire BBA curriculum consists of 7 course components (areas) and the BBA-BI consists of 4 course components (areas) as follows:

Course Outline BBA
Students are required to enroll in 5 courses every semester. Each course has a minimum of about 48 contact hours divided into 32 sessions of one and a half hour each or 48 session of one hour each depending upon the need and requirement of the course. Students are required to undertake a project work between fourth and fifth semesters and also engage in business internship between sixth and seventh semesters.
Summer Project Work
Students in the undergraduate programs (BBA & BBA-BI) are required to undertake an independent summer project assignment. This project is undertaken during the semester break between fourth and fifth semesters. The project work involves field work and empirical analysis of the information collected from the field. The students are also required to prepare a project report in a prescribed format.
Summer Internship
Students in the undergraduate programs (BBA & BBA-BI) are required to undertake a summer internship during the semester break between sixth and seventh semesters. Internship provides the students with an opportunity to gain real-life experience by working in real organizational setting. The internship lasts for a period of six to eight weeks. The college arranges internship for all the students enrolled in the program. During the internship a student is supervised by a faculty supervisor assigned from the college and a supervisor from the respective organization where s/he is doing the internship.
