Academic Scholarship
This scheme is entirely based on the academic performance of the student in the internal evaluation system of the school conducted to prepare the students for the Cambridge University external examinations at the AS and A2 levels.
1. Best overall achievement. One person in AS and one person in A2 who have the highest aggregate marks in the overall internal evaluations conducted by the school are awarded a cash prize of NRs.40,000 each. This computation process will consider marks obtained by the students in the 1st term, 2nd term and all other graded internal evaluations.
2. Best consistent overall progress. One student of AS and one of A2 who have made the best consistent overall progress in the internal evaluations conducted by the school will be awarded a cash prize of NRs. 40,000 each.
3. Best subject achievement. Students of AS and A2 level who have scored the highest aggregate marks in the internal evaluations conducted by the school in each subject will receive a cash prize of NRs.8,000 per subject. This computation process will consider marks obtained by the students in the 1st term, 2nd term and all other graded internal evaluations in each subject.
4. Best consistent subject progress. Students of AS and A2 level who have scored the best consistent progress in a particular subject in the internal evaluations conducted by the school will receive a cash prize of NRs.8,000 per subject. This computation process will consider marks obtained by the students in the 1st term, 2nd term and all other graded internal evaluations in each subject.
In case there is a tie among students, the Executive Council will recommend to the BoD their choice of candidate based on other criteria set.
All awards will be accompanied by a certificate of merit and a letter of appreciation from the concerned faculty or staff.
