Guided by our philosophy that each one of us learns differently and that no particular approach is superior to another, we emphasize on enabling an environment rather than dictating the process. Our faculty serve as facilitators rather than teachers and we encourage students to take initiative and actively take charge of their learning. This is because we emphasize on conceptual clarity, and applications of knowledge and skills in real world problem solving.

Participatory approach and not the traditional rote learning is the key area of attention of the programmes offered at Ace. Educational methods such as lectures, small group exercises, management games, project work, case studies and presentations are used. Computers, statistical kits and audio visual aids are also used to enable effective learning.

Lecture sessions are interactive and facilitated by the instructor to delve in-depth in the subject being dealt. The discussions in class are complimented with case analysis and presentation, reviews and feedback of

presentation, action learning through project works involving studies of real organizations, and practical internships. One of the most extensively used tools is the project based action learning approach. It enhances the learning process by enabling the acquisition of application skills. This process emphasizes on active learning and experimentation, it builds on classroom theoretical dialogue and skills in problem solving. Information gathering and critical analysis are a natural product of this approach.

We emphasize on the need to continually learn in this rapidly changing world because knowledge becomes obsolete as reality changes. And the ability to work with others, lead, follow and understand others can only be enhanced if learning is not limited to acquisition of knowledge alone.
